The bad thing that it does is make you restless or discontented with whatever planet it’s bitching at. Okay, aside from all the excitement Jupiter will bring you in the coming weeks (UMMM EXCITING SHIT, just relish in it please) There is SO much to go over. You had mentioned you had gotten your chart done before (ahem swindled ahem!) So forgive us for starting from the top, but as is customary with these types of things. I had my sister (fellow sagittarius, actually her name is Sarah. hmm!) look into you as well, so you get the full GladysMavis treatment. I just had to tell you all of this but seriously? On Twitter? You don’t want people snooping through your @ replies! So I made this secret spot for your astrology info. Don’t worry it only took me like 10 minutes to make this page. Here’s what i’ll say before I leave you to my sister’s comments [aka the master]. Just know that right now Neptune is crossing over your descendant (pisces) and it like, JUST got there. And it will be there for a long time. Neptune confuses us. Boundaries, delusion, deception, duplicity illnesses?! It will be this way for a few months or so (more on the or so side, not gonna lie to you here) because its just getting settled to camp out on your descendant for uhh...quite some time...Neptune almost makes it impossible for you to see reality in relationships. Let’s just say if we could travel to the planets, everyone would wanna go to Neptune because its like being on shrooms the whole time! Everything is great!! Until it’s not and by then its REALLY not..Like I said..Confusion. But here’s the good news--This transit will pretty much just diffuse everything that is NOT reality. It REALLY assists in the letting go process of a connection, individual or occurrence. It’s quite freeing. Just sucks at first. That whole just let gooooo stage. I’m going through a very similar transit so I happen to know ;) Just know that thanks to great disappointment we can move past our walls and just totally let go of these confining allegiances. That will THEN allow your things to be “goooooood” as you had stated. Trust me. I’m STILL having the issue. But the good news is that its almost over. Like I said, Neptune will be camping there for a long time, it’s just setting up shop right now. So give yourself a little bit of time for Neptune to set up camp and then it will be all set up and it’ll be just like Gilligan’s Island. In color too! Not black and white. Being a Sagittarius is not something to take lightly. We are one of the most exciting, fun, optimistic and downright hilarious signs of the zodiac. Where ever we go we make the best of things, we for the most part can see the bright side of any situation (and often make jokes about it), were always looking for a good time and getting the most out of every experience we encounter, we love to be spiritual and philosophical and one of the best feelings we can ever have and are often drawn to with such passion, is sitting down and having a long, deep, life changing conversation with someone and talking about our philosophies and theirs and connecting to them and the world around us. Its truly our passion, deeply connecting with people and the world around us. in my opinion, its why a lot of actors and actresses are Sagittarius's. If you go to IMDB and do an advanced search for "Star Sign" you'll see the long and vast list of celebrities that are Sagittarius and have made such a huge impact on the world with their talent as well as with their charitable work and their social views. We are an impressive group I have to say.
Thats just the surface of us though. The surface of life like making friends, social events, career and success comes easy to us, and we are often giving the best advice to our friends and people around us about making their lives better! Its our own love lives that stump us as we have an eternal search for perfection and the highest peak of excitement in the area of partnership and love. In fact, you know what I've noticed about Sagittarius's is that when it comes to relationships we are either at one end of the spectrum or the other. We get into a lot of different relationships that don't require a lot of commitment because we fear committing unless someone blows us away or we have very few long term relationships because we are forever on the quest for that incomparable, perfect soul that we long to connect with on every level. We aren't serial monogamists and we don't HAVE to be with someone like a lot of other signs do, we are fine on our own (and sometimes at our best) but deep down we long so much for that deep connection, its our life's blood, we want the PERFECT partner in no uncertain terms. One of the biggest complaints I've found of Sagittarius's though is that we are often too smart for our own good. We come across like we are kind of "know-it-all" types and while alot of people find this attractive, the more insecure and selfish personality types find it off-putting and dont like it. So when we are with someone we need to kind of watch our words and watch for tactless, direct statements that alot of people in this world arent prepared to hear. Sounds great doesnt it? Now here comes the hard part....FINDING that person! So whether you are single or currently dating someone, you are looking for more out of your life emotionally and deep in your heart.
Most people will tell you how to go out and find people and how you need to adjust your physical lifestyle to get to what you are looking for. Its not the case. Everything that you've ever wanted and desired is right within you. Cuddled up in a little sleeping bag inside your heart. You just have to wake it up and talk to that voice inside and ask it what have you REALLY been doing all this time and have you truly been listening to your hearts deepest desire or have you been letting it sleep? Something tells me that you don't give away alot too quickly, you are very open to talking and getting to know people, but when it comes to yourself and your inner feelings you keep alot close to the vest and whoever you are with really has to work hard to get to that inner core, if they dont, you would have lost interest by then and its over. The other challenging thing is, as a Sagittarius you demand the best and you want that perfect connection, so if you have ever been with someone that you DID feel that with and you had a great connection and had great conversations, sexually compatible, and pretty much stimulating in every way but it just didnt work out, you have idealized that the whole way through and constantly comparing every relationship you have ever had to that one great connection and its been hard to connect ever since. Idealism is a big enemy for you in some ways. You have a construction in your head of how things need to be and if something doesnt fall into that mold its not going to work. While that is a great philosophy in business and career, it often can be challenging in relationships because people are so intricate and complex we have to be able to roll with those imperfections and those things that we arent quite familiar with and open up even though it didnt happen quite the way that we envisioned and idealized it. You attach very easily to people that make you feel stable and safe, which means you most likely are attracted to older people or those you feel are established and arent going to change anytime soon. But with that leaves the need for spontaneity and excitement sometimes lacking that is often found in those the same generation as you or younger. You want it ALL and you can find it, but you have to be more open to exposing those holes of your heart to people because while you may get hurt by those that arent worthy, the one that is worthy will show it to you that they are because they can see it. They can show it if you arent allowing it. We are all afraid of heartbreak, but our heart can never break if we never loved in the first place, and yet we cant find love if we dont expose it to potential heartbreak.
Sagittarius's ruling planet is Jupiter so whatever constellation your Jupiter is in has a big effect on you. Yours is in Pisces which tells me that you are far more of an emotional creature than most Sagittarius's. Which means, you are at your best when you are are tender, devoted, giving and compassionate. You love to care for people in need and helping others fills a need deep within you. So basically, you want somebody that needs you, not clingy but just enough to the point where you feel like they cannot be without you, you are important and irreplaceable. Ultimately, at your core, you are a healer and it means so much to you to go deep within and from pain create love. You probably fantasize alot in life and so much of what you have dreamt and idealized (again with idealism) you have longed to make real. This makes you very attractive to other people too because as you are a natural born lover and healer, everyone is drawn to that and everyone seeks it. You are the first person that everyone calls when they need advice, in a crisis, when they need answers and that extra vote of confidence because your strength is connecting with people and listening. Which is great...but what about you? Who does that for you? Who is there for you when you need answers and makes you feel better inside? What's happened to you is that you have put yourself and your needs on the backburner for the likes of others. While that is a wonderful and beautiful quality, people are inherently selfish and they dont mean to be but they are and your needs will by default get pushed to the side. So over time, these big voids have formed inside you that the minute you do connect with someone that could potentially fill it, you are drawn to it and act with such action and principle making you susceptible to giving it all away to them completely but then if/when they disappoint you, its like your own mother let you down, its hard to get over. You are a doer and often do without thinking, which can be exciting and spontaneous but can also trip you up when trying to retrace your steps and figure out your motivation in alot of situations. You are an individualist, being your own person and setting your own goals and standards for yourself is VERY important. There are people in this world that are completely fine with listening to other peoples rules, sacrificing their own desires for their partners needs, and being the mold of what someone wants them to be. You are NOT one of those people and you need to have your own sense of self and life away from the person you are with and even with friends. You like to have people in your life that let you be YOU and have that freedom to be who you are and not have to worry about their insecurities or emotional hangups and you just enjoy one another as individuals.
Wow that was alot. Its easier to say rather then type, but thats a big chunk to think about as of now but I do want to leave you with this. Are you familiar with the Poet Rainer Maria Rilke? He was a writer and poet that was also a Sagittarius with an Aquarius Moon just like you and he said this quote about love and relationships that I believe with my whole heart and have chosen to live by forever. He said:
“The point of marriage is not to create a quick commonality by tearing down all boundaries; on the contrary, a good marriage is one in which each partner appoints the other to be the guardian of his solitude, and thus they show each other the greatest possible trust. I get chills just reading it because it is truly the essence of a relationship with a person. We dont exist to merge into another's soul. We exist to be individuals and exist and individuals side by side with each other. It is when we give up our individuality for another that we lose sight of who we are and then exist solely for the other and we envitably cannot live like this, which leads to the end of the relationship.
I assume that you like to read because you are a Sagittarius, so if you have never read any of Rilke's works (if you have, re-read it because it is truly life altering) read this short collection of letters that he wrote to a young writer that was asking him for help. Its called "Letters to a Young Poet" its very short its a quick read but the words are something to live by. Im not kidding. I read it about once every few months or anytime I feel myself slipping into those melancholy moods that we can be prone to. Im telling you, you wont regret it.
